Mission
As a literacy and writting magnet cluster school, Douglas Taylor Elementary will involve the total community (students, parents, staff and community members) in creating and implementing an educational program emphasizing reading that will enable each student to develop their potentials to the fullest extent possible.

10/27/2012 Taylor Elementary Girls Cross Country Qualifying Race meets at 8:30 a.m. The location will be Washington Park.
10/24/2012 The Taylor Elementary 7th and 8th grade Soccer Team defeated Gallistel Elementary 5-0. The team remains undefeated, congratulations to Mr. Flaherty and the team for their achievement.
